The Honda Classic 5K Run/Walk

The Honda Classic 5K's race course will treat runners and walkers to an exclusive experience within the picturesque grounds of the historic Champion golf course, home of The Honda Classic. Non-golfers now have the opportunity to take on the famed Bear Trap (holes 15, 16 & 17) -- no golf clubs necessary.

All net proceeds from the race benefit Seagull Industries for the Disabled. Seagull Industries enhances the quality of life of developmentally challenged individuals through advocacy and educational, social, vocational and residential programs designed to encourage achievement, self-reliance and economic independence.

Race Start: 7:30 a.m. 

Kid's Fun Run (1 mile): 8:30 a.m.

Location: PGA National Resort & Spa - Champion Course
                   (Course will be run on concrete cart paths)

Age Groups:

12 & Under,     13 - 15,     16 - 19,     20 - 24,     25 - 29,     30 - 34,     35 - 39,     40 - 44,     45 - 49,      50 - 54,     55 - 59,     60 - 64,     65 - 69,     70+

Awards:

Male & Female 1st - 3rd Overall

Male & Female 1st - 3rd in each age group

Entry Fee:

Adults: $30               ($35 after December 17, 2011)

15 & Under: $20

**Race Day: $40 - Adults 

**Race Day: $25 - 15 & Under

Kid's Fun Run: $10

Refreshments and Tee shirts:

All racers will receive a race shirt. Water and light refreshments will be provided.

Directions & Parking:

From I-95 take the PGA Blvd WEST exit and continue left on PGA Blvd. until you reach Avenue of the Champions.  Left onto Avenue of Champions; at the traffic circle continue past the guard house. Avenue of the Champions dead ends into PGA National Resort. The race start will be to the right, directly in front of the resort.

Please park in the resort parking lot to your left as you enter.
