Volunteer Parking

Volunteer Parking is located next to the Mirasol Elementary School (Marsh Pointe) 1 mile north of PGA Blvd on Jog Road (1st entrance to Mirasol)

Directions:
From I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike, take PGA Blvd West to Jog Road (PGA National on the left, Mirasol on the right). Take a right on Jog Road and follow "Volunteer/Preferred Parking" signs into the Volunteer Lot 1 mile on the left. Click here for directions from your house.

Over 1,300 volunteers are needed to create a successful event and we are hopeful you will join us this spring. 

There are many different volunteer positions available, for people of all ages. The committee descriptions will help you to determine the area in which you would like to volunteer. Please note that some committees may require work prior to and after tournament week. While committee assignments cannot be guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate your selection.

Tournament Volunteer

The volunteer package for 2012 will be $65.00. This package, valued at $300.00, will consist of:

• Tournament shirt, hat and name badge (which allows tournament entry for the entire week). Additional shirts at a discounted price will be available at uniform distribution;
• Two weekly ticket books for admission;
• Lunch will be provided each day you work (continental breakfast available while supplies last);
• Two golf coupons for play at any of the courses at PGA National. The coupons allow you to play for the discounted price of $25.00 plus tax. Coupons can be used May 1 thru Sept. 30, 2012. You must work three shifts to receive the golf coupons which will be mailed following the tournament.

Junior/Student Volunteer

Earn community service hours while volunteering at the Honda Classic! To qualify as a junior/student volunteer, you must be between the ages of 13-21. Positions available for students are admissions, courtesy check, fan zone, standard bearer, shotlink, uniform sales, and will call. **Childcare volunteers must be age 17 or older. 

The junior/student volunteer package for 2012 will again be $20.00. This package includes:

• Honda Classic t-shirt and name badge (allows tournament entry for the entire week);
• One weekly ticket book for admission;
• Lunch provided each day you work (continental breakfast available while supplies last);

The "walk with a parent/guardian" package for 2012 will be $25.00. This is for volunteers under 13 years of age (ages 7-12) and includes:

• All junior volunteer package items
• Additional Honda Classic t-shirt and name badge for the parent
• *NOTE - Only one child per parent. 

We ask that all junior/student volunteers commit to work at least two shifts (shift times vary depending upon committee, but are generally 4-6 hours). 

The popularity of The Honda Classic has grown tremendously in the past five years. We have increased our volunteer core to over 1,400 members and therefore, must adhere strictly to our application deadline this year. Any applications received after January 30, 2012 will ONLY be accepted for committees still in need of volunteers, regardless of past experience or length of service. So please submit your applications by January 30th! We will once again be offering incentives for those of you who apply in a timely fashion - all applications received by December 16 will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a new Honda generator! Plus, four other lucky winners will be given the use of a brand new 2012 Honda vehicle for up to two weeks prior to the tournament. (exact arrival date of courtesy cars will be announced later; nontransferable; must be over 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license)

You will be notified in mid-February via mail/email of your committee assignment, meeting date and time, as well as uniform distribution hours. Information will also be posted on this page.
