Thank you to all the participants & families for making the 2011 Junior Honda Classic a huge success! Over 220 players from 10 countries and 12 states competed in the tournament.
The Junior Honda Classic is a premier competitive and developmental golf experience celebrating junior golf and perpetuating our growth of the game initiatives. We are inviting young people of all ages and skill levels to play and have fun. As a part of our kickoff series leading up to the 2012 Honda Classic, we are reaching out to the youth in our community to come to PGA National Resort & Spa to enjoy golf at the home of The Honda Classic.
2011 JUNIOR HONDA CLASSIC HOLE-BY-HOLE YARDAGES - CLICK TO DOWNLOAD
We will be staging a 36-hole tournament on the Palmer Course for boys and girls ages 12-18 and on the Haig Course for boys and girls ages 10-11 on December 8-9, 2012 (players can earn junior ranking points). There will also be a 9 hole format (Haig Course) available to ages 12 and under on Saturday, December 8, 2012 as well as an 18 hole format (Haig Course) on Sunday, December 9, 2012. The 9 and 18 hole participants will not be applicable for junior ranking credit. Participants will have the option to play in one format.
Entries are $245 per player for the 36 hole event, $150 for the 18 hole format and $115 for the 9 hole format (a practice round is available on 12/9/11 for an additional fee). Each player receives a Honda Classic gift pack and prizes will be awarded following play. All proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare Charity. THE HONDA CLASSIC JUNIOR PAR 3 CHALLENGE
The Honda Classic Junior Par 3 Challenge will be held on January 7, 2012 at the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course and offers the chance to play a competitive tournament against some of the top juniors in the area, all while enjoying the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean just steps away. Participant registration is now available; spots fill quickly so sign up today! We have also added a 9 Hole division for children who are 8 years old and under.
