Vic & Angelos Becomes Exclusive Caterer Of The Honda Classic

Palm Beach Gardens, FL - Vic & Angelos, a Palm Beach County dining institution, will be the Exclusive Caterer at the 2015 Honda Classic, serving skyboxes and private hospitality areas in addition to tournament players on the driving range at PGA National Resort & Spa.

Vic & Angelos will also sponsor The Honda Classic's popular Wine Garden, a fixture of The Bear Trap on the 17th hole where spectators sample wines while watching the best players in the world tackle PGA National Resort & Spa's signature hole.

The players and their caddies will be able to experience Vic & Angelos fine Italian cuisine as the restaurant caters the range on Tuesday and Wednesday along with BurgerFi, another local restaurant which is under the same ownership umbrella.

"This is an opportunity for The Honda Classic to partner with one of the most desirable restaurant brands in the community and enhance the hospitality experience of our guests," Tournament Director Ed McEnroe said. "The Vic & Angelos experience is special. This partnership is a continuation of our ongoing commitment to those who attend the tournament each year."

Through the Honda Classic partnership, Vic & Angelos will serve more than 7,500 of The Honda Classic's highest-level corporate partners and guests. The Vic & Angelos Wine Garden will also give the restaurant the visibility of sponsoring and servicing the top public hospitality experience at the tournament. The 2,500 square-foot structure is strategically located in one of the highest traffic areas on tournament grounds.

Vic & Angelos has two restaurant locations, one on PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens and the other on trendy Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach.

Vic & Angelo's Grand Italian Coal Oven Enoteca features big city rustic Italian dining in a warm and friendly environment. The menus pay homage to the authentic culinary traditions of Italy utilizing only the best ingredients such as San Marzano tomatoes imported directly from Naples, Italy and water imported from New York for use in making the pizza dough. The wine list is extensive.

"Vic & Angelos is happy to be a sponsor of this year's Honda Classic," said Vic & Angelos founder John Rosatti. "It's an honor to be able to serve the players and attendees with fine Italian cuisine right here in our backyard of Palm Beach."

The 2015 Honda Classic will be played February 23-March 1, 2015 with Russell Henley defending his title. The Honda awarded a record $2.55 million in charitable contributions in 2014, the eighth straight year the event has increased its charitable distribution to South Florida Children's Charities. The tournament also attracted 193,052 confirmed spectators between Tuesday's practice round and Sunday's dramatic finish that saw Henley prevail in a four-man playoff over Rory McIlroy, Ryan Palmer and Russell Knox.
