Maxfli announced that it has begun shipping its Revolution Solid golf ball ahead of schedule. Initial shipments were sent via overnight delivery on March 7th to the Sunbelt, according to the company, in anticipation of USGA approval on the 8th. Shipments of the ball were to have begun in April but it accelerated delivery, according to Maxfli, due to high customer demand and record-breaking sales of the ball at the 2001 PGA Show.

“We are delighted to be shipping the new Revolution Solid early when the competition is struggling to get their product out,” said Guy Peters, Director of Marketing for Maxfli Golf Balls, Dunlop Slazenger Group Americas. “Coming into 2001, we expected the Revolution Solid to be a hit, and this proves that we were correct. The Maxfli brand image is based on being the choice of the better player, and judging by the demand, the new Revolution Solid is the ball that the good player wants.”
