Saitama, Japan (Sports Network) - Annika Sorenstam, already a seven-time winner on the LPGA Tour in 2001, posted a five-under 67 on Saturday to grab the 36-hole lead of the Mizuno Classic.

The LPGA Player of the Year matched Debbie Massey's 36-hole record in this event with an 11-under-par 133. She owns a two-shot lead over Laura Davies, who vaulted up the leaderboard on Saturday with a seven-under-par 65.

Sorenstam began the round tied for the lead with Marisa Baena but fell behind early thanks to a birdie at one by Baena and a pair of birdies by Woo-Soon Ko.

Pak posts five-shot win at AFLAC Champions

Semmes, AL (Sports Network) - South Korea's Se Ri Pak shot a one-under-par 71 Sunday to win the AFLAC Champions by five shots over Canada's Lorie Kane. The victory was Pak's fifth of the season and the 13th of her LPGA Tour career.

The 31-year-old former golf coach at Yale University posted a 72-hole total of 15-under-par 273 to win by one shot over Scotland's Mhairi McKay and third-round leader Moira Dunn.
