Azinger Jacobsen Lead off Sony Open Shoot Out Field

Paul Azinger, defending Sony Open in Hawaii champion and Peter Jacobsen, winner of the 13th annual Johnny Bellinger SHOOT-OUT at this year’s Sony Open in Hawaii, will be among the ten PGA TOUR professional golfers in the Sony Open in Hawaii 2001’s popular First Hawaiian Bank-sponsored Tuesday event, the $25,000 SHOOT-OUT.

The Sony Open in Hawaii 2001 being held at the Waialae Country Club’s oceanside course January 15-21, will offer one of the major purses of 2001 - $4,000,000, with the champion’s share, $720,000.
