Mission Statement

The South Florida Fairgrounds is home of Yesteryear Village. Established in 1990, the Village is comprised of authentic and replicated buildings and structures from days gone by. The mission is to promote and preserve early Florida life from 1895-1945. Many collections, exhibits and artifacts can be found on this 10 acre history park. When visiting Yesteryear Village, patrons will gain an insight of how their ancestors were taught in a one-room schoolhouse and will develop an understanding of how life has changed throughout the years. Furthermore, information provided during tours has been developed in conjunction with the Palm Beach County District's curriculum.
