Mission Statement

The Gulf Stream Council, Boy Scouts of America chartered in 1914, currently serves over 7250 Scouts and 2500 adult volunteers in a seven county area including Palm Beach, Martin, St Lucie, Indian River, Glades, Okeechobee and Hendry counties in southeast Florida. Scouting is a year-round educational program designed to accomplish the aims of character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness through fun, adventure, service, achievement and leadership training.
