Fan Experience
The Palm Beach Post Fan Zone
The Honda Classic Fan Zone offers something for everyone with games and inflatables for kids, interactive activities for adults including a driving cage and professional swing analysis and much more. You won't miss the the Fan Zone as it's the first stop on your way through the tournament entrance and you may find yourself in not so rush to get to all the action on course when you get caught up in the fun of the Zone.
Heineken Terrace and the After Play Concert Series
The Honda Classic provides the best professional golf action around, but there is definitely more to look forward to than what's happening on course. The Heineken Terrace, overlooking the main Practice Green and the 10th Tee caters to a full range of tastes in dining and entertainment. Cold drinks and food enjoyed on the open air Terrace allow for continued golf viewing throughout the day and when the last putt drops, the Heineken Terrace becomes a Honda Classic bash. Each night a different band brings out the wilder side of The Honda Classic and provides a taste of the tournament that can only be experienced off the green. FPL Pavilion and Village
The FPL Pavilion overlooking the 17th green is another great place to hang out. For starters, you have a signature par-three hole bordered by water. The Pavilion also treats general admission fans to theatre-style seats, flat-screen televisions, and unobstructed sight lines to the hole. Just outside the FPL Pavilion is the FPL Village where you'll find lunch and a cold drink, interactive expos from FPL and you and the kids can cool off in the FPL Cool Mist Zone.
Heineken Premium Light Bear Trap
The Bear Trap proved in 2007 to be one of the most exciting spots at The Honda Classic. Located at the 16th Green, the Bear Trap provides in the action viewing of not only 16, but both the tee and green of the Signature Par 3 17th. Purchasing the upgraded Bear Trap ticket gains you access to live televised tournament coverage and upgraded food and beverage sales offered in this excitement charged, sports bar atmosphere. A variety of covered, outdoor and stadium seating allow the opportunity to enjoy the game and the party as you please.
St. Mary's Medical Center and the Children's Hospital at St. Mary's Kids Boxes & Autograph Zone
Kids at The Honda Classic are offered the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the golf
action from inside their very own Kids Boxes located at the Champion Range and at
the 17th & 18th greens. Parents and kids are invited to get the autographs of their
favorite golfers at the Autograph Zone behind the 18th green. Many thanks to St.
Mary's Medical Center and the Children's Hospital at St. Mary's for these unique
locations.
Tire Kingdom/Yokohama Fireworks Spectaculars
On Friday and Saturday nights, make your way to the Heineken Terrace, relax and listen to the band and when the sun has set, prepare to be blown away. With the stars come The Honda Classic Fireworks - the perfect end to an unforgettable day.
Kiril Jeliazkov – Artist
Award winning, international artist Kiril Jeliazkov has selected The Honda Classic to showcase his large-scale art project, The Orange Step. The outdoor exhibit comes to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida after receiving rave reviews during its international premiere in Yambol, Bulgaria and its United States premiere in Savannah, Georgia.
The project is a single composition of 128 original paintings, each 20 feet high by 10 feet wide. The unique masterpiece is will stretchthroughout the Champion Course at PGA National Resort & Spa.
Carefully selected, weather resistant materials were used in the creation of The Orange Step. The paintings are on vinyl with specially produced water-based paints. Kiril used two tons of paint to cover the 880 yards of vinyl canvas. He designed a custom support structure for the exhibit made of 13 tons of iron.

Before You Head Out - Be Prepared
We want your Honda Classic experience to be the best possible! Planning ahead will allow you to make the most of the day and ensure you don't miss a single swing of your favorite golfer.
Who to follow?

Thursday and Friday pairings are determined before the tournament begins, with each golfer playing one day in the morning and the other day in the afternoon. Saturday and Sunday pairings are based on a player's score, with the leaders teeing off last.
You can find each day's pairings at (link to daily pairings) as well as in the sports section of the Palm Beach Post. At the tournament, pairings sheets with tee times and the order of the groups along with the course map can be found in the Spectator Guides which will be available free of charge. The Spectator Guides are located at the tournament entrance and clearly indicated locations on the tournament grounds.
At the tournament, check the scoreboards to find out who the leaders are and where they are on course. Standard bearers will follow each group holding up the player's names. You can also spot a player by his caddie who wears the pro's name on his vest.
Have a Plan
How do you plan to watch your favorite players on the course—"Parade Style" or "Cross-Country Style"? Pick a spot and watch the field pass by ("Parade Style") or follow a particular player or group around the course ("Cross-Country Style"). Arrive early to reserve a spot, especially if you plan on watching the tournament "Parade Style."
Kids at the Tournament
Kids Zones are designated areas around the course allowing children 15 and under
to watch tournament play close to the ropes in front of the crowds. Parents will
not be allowed in these areas. Check the interactive course map (link to map) to
find the Kid Zones. Children at the tournament should always be within eyesight

Public Phones
Since cell phones are prohibited from all PGA TOUR events, call centers will be available to make outgoing calls at select locations on tournament grounds. The interactive course map (link to map) indicates where call centers are located.
Other Tips
- Review the course map (link to map) prior to arriving at the tournament.
- Carpool whenever possible and remember where your car is parked.
- Tickets must be prominently displayed at all times.
- Wear headgear and sunglasses for protection from the sun, and use sunblock.
- Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
- Familiarize yourself with the First Aid Stations located on-site.
- Tournament information booths are located at the main entrance and .
- Stay behind the gallery ropes and cooperate with the marshals.
- Kneel or sit down if you are in the front row.
- Remain still through each shot and do not move until all players in the group have played or completed the hole.
- Walk carefully—never run.
In the event of an emergency, contact any uniformed tournament Marshal or Law Enforcement personnel in order to expedite medical assistance.

Golf Etiquette & Attire
Golf Etiquette
- Stay quiet and stand still when a player is about to hit the ball and until the shot is finished.
- "Hands in the air" means stop and be quiet while golfers are playing their shots.
- Do not stand behind or in line with a golfer's lie or line to pin.
- Never cross fairways, except at designated crossover areas marked by signage.
- If you are in a front row, kneel or sit down whenever possible to allow better viewing for those behind you.
- For your own safety, follow the directions of the tournament marshals.
- Spectators will be removed immediately without warning for:
- Refusal to obey quiet signs or signals.
- Distracting or embarrassing a player.
- Making rude, vulgar, or other inappropriate comments or gestures toward a player.
- Booing or cheering at inappropriate times.
Suggested Golf Attire
Appropriate casual golf wear with comfortable walking shoes (soft spikes only). Spectators should have the following items on hand:

Public Parking / Will Call
Will Call is located at the Fire House on Northlake Boulevard, west of I-95 and Military Trail at the blinking light.

General Parking is located at Dyer Park on Haverhill Road North at Bee Line Highway.
From I-95 take the Blue Heron Blvd Exit West, go west on Blue Heron Blvd. to Bee Line Hwy. Take Bee Line Highway north to Haverhill Rd N and turn left (south). Follow signs to parking on the right. Shuttles will transport spectators to the main tournament entrance.
From the Florida Turnpike there is a Sunpass only exit at Bee Line Hwy. Those without Sunpasses take the PGA Blvd. Exit east to Military Trail. Turn right on Military Trail and follow south to Blue Heron Blvd. Turn right (West) onto Blue Heron Blvd. and follow to Bee Line Hwy. Take Bee Line Highway north to Haverhill Rd N and turn left (south). Follow signs to parking on the right. Shuttles will transport spectators to the main tournament entrance.

Preferred Parking is located at PGA National Park on Ryder Cup Boulevard off Northlake Boulevard. (Preferred Parking Pass required)
From I-95 take the Northlake Blvd. Exit west past Military Trail to Ryder Cup Blvd. on the right (north). Follow "Preferred Parking" signs into PGA National Park from Ryder Cup Blvd.
From the Florida Turnpike take the PGA Blvd. Exit east to Military Trail. Turn right on Military Trail and follow south to Northlake Blvd. Turn right (west) onto Northlake Blvd. Turn right (north) onto Ryder Cup Blvd. Follow "Preferred Parking" signs into PGA National Park from Ryder Cup Blvd.

Special Needs
Shuttle and Course Access
All shuttle buses to and from the parking lots are handicapped accessible. Corporate hospitality venues as well as concession areas are equipped with chair lifts and/or wheel chair ramps. Handicapped viewing areas can be located using the course map.
Restrooms
All restrooms on the tournament grounds are handicapped accessibly and can be found on the course map.
Emergencies
Should a problem or emergency occur, contact any uniformed tournament Marshal or law enforcement personnel in order to expedite medical assistance. First Aid tents are displayed on the course maps found in the complimentary Spectator Guides.

Weather
Check the weather before you leave for the tournament. Current weather conditions can be found by clicking the following link: weather.com.
In the event of thunderstorms, lightning, or other severe weather, "Weather Warning" information will be displayed on the electronic scoreboards around the golf course. If inclement weather is approaching, spectators are advised to take precautions prior to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately.

- Hilltops/high places
- Isolated trees
- Golf carts
- Wire fences

USGA Rules of Golf
The USGA, in conjunction with the R&A in St. Andrews, Scotland, writes, interprets and maintains the Rules of Golf to guard the tradition and integrity of the game. The two organizations are joint authors and owners of The Rules of Golf and Decisions on the Rules of Golf. Through an agreement with the R&A;, the Rules jurisdiction of the USGA includes only the United States, its possessions and Mexico.

Policies
Alcohol Policy
- Spectators are not allowed to bring any type of alcohol to the tournament grounds.
- Only beer and wine can be removed from any private or public hospitality area.
- Alcoholic beverages will not be sold to the public any later than one hour prior to the scheduled end of competition.
- Concession areas will close one hour after the end of competition.
- Please drink responsibly.

Autograph Policy
For the players' consideration, a NO AUTOGRAPH POLICY will be enforced on the golf course during tournament play Thursday - Sunday.
These bans include tournament officials and volunteers.

Prohibited Items
All spectators will be checked by a metal detector prior to boarding shuttles from parking. For your convenience, leave all prohibited items in your vehicle.
Prohibited Items:

- electronics
- metal objects
- radios, TVs
- Signs or banners
- Beverages or coolers
- Bags larger than a 6” x 6” purse (No backpacks, camera bags or duffel/diaper bags)
- Cameras prohibited Thursday - Sunday (Cameras are permitted for Monday - Wednesday practice rounds only). No camera bags are allowed the entire week.
- Firearms or weapons of any kind
No cell phones allowed at all, even if they are turned off or vibrate. Pagers must be placed on vibrate.
All carry items permitted will be subject to search.
Any prohibited items must be forfeited or returned to your car.
