PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – The Honda Classic will pay tribute to The Beatles at its 2008 Kickoff Party which will be held February 21 from 7 p.m.-10:30 p.m. at the Grand Court of the Gardens Mall.

The Beatles tribute band, Hello Goodbye, will be the featured entertainment at the event which will be the official opening celebration for the PGA TOUR golf tournament.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served by several area restaurants. There will be a 200 square-foot putting green and a swing analyzer. The cost is $50 per person which benefits the tournament charity, Children’s Healthcare Charity Inc.

Hello Goodbye was formed six years ago when the four members embraced the awesome task of playing the Beatles repertoire of 1963-70. Bryan Hinton, Derek Cruz, Dennis Sanders and Blair King not only encapsulate the songs, but attempt to capture the feel and vibe of the Fab Four.

Tickets to the Honda Classic Kickoff Party are available through the tournament office at 561-799-4600.

The Honda Classic, Palm Beach County’s largest sporting event, awarded more than $505,000 to area children’s charities in 2007, allowing the tournament to surpass the $15 million mark in charitable contributions during American Honda’s 27-year tenure as title sponsor.

The 2008 Honda Classic will be played February 25-March 2 at PGA National Resort & Spa.
