“We want to allow people to stay and be entertained after they have spent the afternoon watching golf,” Honda Classic Executive Director Kenneth R. Kennerly said. “These after-play concerts cater to all different musical tastes and showcase some of our finest local groups.”

Here is a capsule look at the four groups:

The Tom Jackson Band
Singer, songwriter, musician... but above all Tom Jackson is an entertainer. He compels an audience as though he has been on stage all his life. Tom's brand of music is a new driving, aggressive country likened to a combination of Jason Aldean meets Charlie Daniels. His high energy music and performances are best noted in songs such as "In the Sticks", a song about livin' it up in the country or "Swamp Justice" which details a romp through the Florida swamps chasing down some moonshine.

Boss Groove

The name implies “being in charge of the deepest rhythm,” a phrase that aptly describes this accomplished group. Hailing from the Treasure Coast, this is one of the region's most complete and energetic collections of musical talent. We’re talking about a show band here. A seven piece wall of sound, which tips the hat to legendary bands such as Tower of Power, Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire to the new sounds of the Dave Matthews Band, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Blues Traveler and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The Lahinch Mob

The Lahinch Mob was formed in 2001 and calls South Florida their home. The band's creation was inspired by Aherne, a native of Dublin, Ireland, and Norvell, an Irish American traditionalist. Their passion for Irish folk music and modern day rock was the foundation for the emergence of their truly unique and infectious sound. The band electrifies a large fan base from local and statewide venues in Florida all the way to Ireland, and is guaranteed to rock the Heineken Terrace at The Honda Classic again like last year.

Street Talk

A perfect finale to the Honda Classic After Play Concert Series, Street Talk is a South Florida based variety dance band performing classic hits and rock and roll favorites spanning the last eight decades of music. Their smooth sound and hip rhythms will send the celebration of another successful Honda Classic well into the evening after a champion has been crowned.
